Welcome to Lucerne
The Business and Hotel Management School campus is located in the Swiss city of Lucerne. The city is over 800 years old. Now it is home to about 60,000 people. There is something to see, where to walk and spend free time from studies. Although students have a little of it - the program is quite rich.
Meeting at the airport
At BHMS, student care begins with a meeting at the airport. You won't have any problems getting to campus. After all, you will be met by Emil, who - about an hour's journey from Zurich to Lucerne - will definitely answer all your very first questions on Swiss soil.
First day
The first day in a new place is always a little exciting and hectic. There are so many impressions that they can make your head spin. But don't worry, the University staff will help you navigate the BHMS campus, make your first friends, meet teachers and even get a free SIM card.
Education system
B.H.M.S. is one of the leading universities in Switzerland. Largely due to the unique approach to education. Here you not only get quality theory. But also a lot - a lot! - practice that will come in handy at the beginning of your career and throughout your professional life.
Culinary academy

The school's chef and BHMS culinary program leader, Sean Leonard, offers excellent opportunities for students who wish to develop their culinary talents. BHMS's unique program includes professional cooking methods, modern cooking workshops, menu design, creativity development, entrepreneurship, and many other exciting courses.
How we care for our students 24/7

Whatever "organizational" question a BHMS student may have, he can contact a special service with him. They will help you to get a student visa for traveling in Europe, open an account with a Swiss bank, and of course, they will issue health insurance so that students feel free, independent and completely safe.
Internship

Half of the academic year, our students spend in practice in leading European and American companies in the hospitality industry, applying theoretical knowledge, gaining invaluable experience, replenishing their resume. Internships are paid. On average, our students earn about 2000 euros for each month of practice.
Employment

B.H.M.S. has its own agency that deals with the employment of graduates. According to this indicator, our school is one of the best not only in Europe, but also in the world. BHMS graduates are literally snapped up, and, if they wish, can start a career in the leading travel, hotel, trade, transport companies in the world.
Accommodation in B.H.M.S.
All B.H.M.S. students live in the city center. All residences are within a 5-10 minute walk from the auditoriums. Our standard rooms with private facilities accommodate 2-3 students. The "standard premium" room is a private bedroom with shared facilities in the apartment. Studio accommodation is a private room with all the personal amenities.
Food
B.H.M.S. students eat regularly, varied and tasty. For breakfast, lunch and dinner, everyone can choose several dishes to their liking. National days are regularly held in the kitchen and you can taste dishes from all over the world. By the way, practical training of BHMS students in culinary arts is also held here.
